The online Apple Store is down ahead of pre-orders for the new 5G iPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 12 mini, and HomePod mini.

Starting Friday, November 6, at 5 a.m. PST, iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini will be available to customers for pre-order on apple.com, the Apple Store app, and through Apple Authorized Resellers and select carriers.

The first hands-on looks at the new iPhone 12 Pro Max and iPhone 12 mini with 5G support have been posted.

The 5.4-inch and 6.7-inch Apple iPhones will go up for pre-order tomorrow morning. They both feature an A14 processor, OLED display, 5G support, MagSafe wireless charging and more; however, the iPhone 12 Pro Max debuts a much improved camera that will appeal to professional and avid photographers.

Alleged AirPods 3 Part Reveals New Design [Photo]

Check out these images which purportedly reveal the design of Apple's upcoming AirPods 3.

The images were shared online by 52audio via Macotakara:

AirPods (3rd generation) has basically the same internal structure as the conventional model, such as the unit structure of the headset and the wireless charging receiving coil of the charging box, and the battery size is smaller like the rumored AirPods Pro (2nd generation). It seems that the size of the housing will be reduced by making it smaller.

LG to Supply Mini-LED Display for New iPad Arriving Early Next Year [Report]

LG will supply mini-LED display panels for a new iPad set to arrive early next year, reports ETNews.

According to the industry on November 1, LG Display plans to supply its Mini LED backlight LCDs to Apple. These LCDs are expected to be used for Apple’s new iPads that will be released early next year. The supply chain for Mini LED backlight LCDs is also finalized. Epistar based in Taiwan will supply Mini LEDs while TSMT that is also based in Taiwan will be responsible for mounting of Mini LEDs (Surface Mount Technology). LG Display will then add its LCDs to modules and make and supply finalized displays.

It's likely that the first mini-LED device will be a new iPad Pro. Benefits of Mini-LED include thinner and lighter product design, good wide color gamut performance, high contrast and HDR, as well as the ability to dim specific screen areas.

Apple Watch ECG Feature Will Be Available in South Korea and Russia With Release of iOS 14.2, watchOS 7.1

Apple has announced that the Apple Watch ECG feature will be available in South Korea and Russia once iOS 14.2 and watchOS 7.1 are released.

On Apple Watch Series 4 and later models, an ECG app will be available in Korea via a next software update via iOS 14.2 and watchOS 7.1. This feature is a product that can be measured directly by the consumer, allowing the customer to measure the electrocardiogram directly from the wrist, capturing the heart rhythm and providing important data to the healthcare practitioner as soon as they experience symptoms of a fast beating or skipping pulse.
