Panic Announces Private Beta of New 'Nova' Code Editor for Mac

Panic has launched a private beta of Nova, its new code editor for Mac.

It's almost here. Our totally rethought and redesigned Mac editor, 'Nova', is reaching private beta. Now, we need your help to make it perfect.

The new application has modern editor features like multiple cursors, highlighting for identifiers, tag pairs, and brackets, editor overscroll, improved autocomplete, and more. There's also the option to publish to multiple destinations, a sidebar for build issues, themes, and a new Terminal.

Pixelmator Pro has been updated with an editing extension that integrates the entire, full-featured Pixelmator Pro app inside Photos.

It’s finally ready! The Pixelmator Pro editing extension for the Photos app is now available in Pixelmator Pro 1.4 Hummingbird, an amazing major update released today. The update also brings a new Zoom Tool, an improved Crop tool, and a wide range of additional new features and improvements. This is no ordinary update and no ordinary Photos extension.

OnePlus 5/5T get native screen recording and more in OyxgenOS 9.0.7 update

Not to be left out today, the OnePlus 5 and 5T are also getting a new update. OxygenOS 9.0.7 is starting to roll out for the company's 2017-era flagships, bringing last month's security patches, the company's snazzy screen recorder, a landscape quick reply feature (which isn't quite as simple as it sounds), and a handful of other tweaks.

Pixelmator Pro Gains Photos Editing Extension, New Zoom Tool, Updated Crop Tool and More

The team behind Pixelmator Pro today released a major update for the photo editing app, introducing useful new capabilities that make it easier than ever to edit your photos.

There's now a Pixelmator Pro editing extension for the built-in Photos app on the Mac, which includes all of the tools and features from the full Pixelmator Pro app.

With the extension, you can make edits to your photos using the tools from Pixelmator Pro without having to leave the Photos app. This makes for a more streamlined editing workflow when you're working with images stored within the Photos app.

Pixelmator Pro documents are also now able to be saved to the Photos app, and iCloud sync is supported for Pixelmator Pro documents saved to Photos.

Along with an editing extension for Photos, today's Pixelmator Pro update adds a new Zoom Tool for zooming into and panning around images more easily. The Crop tool also now features a Delete mode, the ability to crop to custom pixel sizes, and redesigned crop presets.

There are a whole range of other smaller updates and tweaks in Pixelmator Pro, listed on the Pixelmator Pro website.
