Apple Announces Extended Holiday Return Policy



Apple has announced its Extended Holiday Return Policy for this year. As usual, the company is giving customers a bit more time to return items that were purchased as holiday gifts.

Holiday Return Policy
Items purchased at the Apple Online Store that are received between November 15, 2019 and December 25, 2019, may be returned through January 8, 2020. Please note that all other terms and conditions provided in the Apple Online Store Sales and Refunds Policy are still applicable with respect to such items purchased. All purchases made after December 25, 2019, are subject to the Standard Return Policy.

New Server Notifications for App Store Subscriptions Now Available



Apple has announced that new server-to-server notifications for App Store subscriptions are now available to developers.

Server-to-server notifications from the App Store let you receive real-time updates in a subscription’s status, so you can provide customized experiences for your subscribers. New notifications are now available when a subscription renewal fails due to a billing issue and when a billing issue is resolved by the App Store. In addition, a unified receipt containing information about the latest 100 in-app purchase transactions is now included with the notification.

If you've already enabled server-to-server notifications in App Store Connect, you'll automatically receive the new notifications and unified receipt for these subscription events. You can learn how to enable server-to-server notifications at the link below.
