Foxconn Halts 'Almost All' Production in China Due to Coronavirus, iPhone Output Could See 'Big' Impact [Report]



Foxconn has halted 'almost all' of its production in China due to the coronavirus which could have a 'big' impact on iPhone output, reports Reuters.

Foxconn could see a “big” production impact and shipments to customers including Apple face disruption if a Chinese factory halt due to the coronavirus outbreak extends into a second week, a person with direct knowledge of the matter said.

According to the site's source, China ordered Foxconn to shut down its factories in the country until at least February 10th. Any extension to this stoppage could disrupt shipments to clients including Apple.
