AT&T Waives Home Internet Data Overages Amid Coronavirus Outbreak



AT&T has announced that it's waiving home Internet data overages for customers amid the coronavirus outbreak.

"Many of our AT&T Internet customers already have unlimited home-Internet access, and we are waiving Internet data overages for the remaining customers," AT&T said in a statement provided to Ars Technica today.

For customers on 150GB, 250GB, and 1TB data caps, AT&T usually charges about $10 for each additional 50GB, up to a max of $100 or $200 per month.
