Check out this comparison of photos taken with the iPhone 11 Pro to photos shot by a $7500 Canon 1DX Mark II setup.The comparison was posted to YouTube by photographer Matti Haapoja. In the video, Haapoja shares side by side photo comparisons to highlight the differences and similarities between each image. While the first example is quite obvious, some of the other images appear remarkably close in quality.
Apple was able to achieve vastly improved photo quality with the iPhone 11 Pro thanks to advancements in computational photography and the addition of a third ultra-wide angle camera lens. This is set to improve even further with the release of iOS 13.2 which brings a new Deep Fusion camera upgrade.
