Apple has doubled boxed the iPhone 12 in France in order to include EarPods.Promoting the use of a mobile phone by children without the use of an accessory that limits electromagnetic waves is punishable by a criminal fine in France. As far as we know, France is the only country where buyers still get EarPods included with the purchase of an iPhone.
In the unboxing video below, we can see that Apple has placed EarPods in an outer box that also houses the new smaller box for the iPhone 12.
